Wow, what a couple of weeks it has been! This job change has knocked the stuffing out of my energy in the evenings, tonight’s the first night I’ve felt like writing anything! Thank goodness for a supportive husband who’s been extra helpful around the house lately!
I’ve been working hard trying not to eat my way through the stress of this change, mostly successfully. I fell way off the wagon on Tuesday, which led to me missing my run on Wednesday morning for reasons that are way TMI to share here; but overall have not done too badly. Though I am finding it more difficult to get all my water in each day, due to being so much busier. On the other hand, this has helped me to think less about snacking, especially in the afternoons.
The weather is finally beginning to cool, I think I saw a high of 67 for one day next week! I love the changing seasons (though I hate to think of the snow flying again), and it’s so much more comfortable to be outside with a little less heat and humidity. The Akron Marathon is this weekend, and I am running a leg of the relay. It’s one of my favorite races of the year so I’m very pumped! Then later we are celebrating Scott’s birthday, so it should be a fun-filled weekend, hopefully enough so to take my mind off work!
