Hi everyone! So, it’s been a minute since I’ve done any writing…August I believe, about 7 months. Life has been a little chaotic and crazy the last few months for sure. I had to take some time to examine myself, take care of myself, essentially re-learning to make myself a priority. It’s been quite a roller coaster, but I’m working hard on several things and finding the light at the end of the tunnel.

Heart Rate Training, Day 1
Well, just got back from my first workout using this new heartrate approach. Wow. I was to do 1 mile at easy pace, 4 miles keeping my heart rate in zones 2-3 (roughly 120-140 beats per minute), and then 1 mile easy. That was tough! My easy miles were way faster than the middle 4! I really had to work and be vigilant to keep my heartrate below 140. But I did it, and here’s hoping I’m finally on the road to shedding these last few pounds…..now I’m off to prepare and plan for dual birthday celebrations with family this evening!
